Must-have requirements to be considered

To be considered for an Interim Workforce Consultant role on NATO Defense Projects, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Nationality: Must have a nationality from one of the NATO member states.
  • Security Clearance: Possess an active NATO Security Clearance.
  • Employment Type: Be available to work on a Consultant basis.
  • Location: Be prepared to relocate and work on-site at NATO premises in the EU and the US.

Can I apply if I don’t have an active NATO Security Clearance?

No, you must have a valid NATO Security Clearance to be eligible for NATO projects.

Yes, GEOS holds a NATO Facility Clearance and can assist eligible consultants in obtaining the required clearance for NATO projects.

The minimum required level is NATO Secret (NS). Some projects may require NATO Cosmic Top Secret (CTS).

Remote work is extremely limited in the defense sector. Most NATO projects require consultants to work on-site at NATO premises.

Typical locations include:

  • Belgium: Brussels, Mons, Braine-l’Alleud
  • The Netherlands: The Hague, Brunssum
  • Portugal: Oeiras
  • Italy: La Spezia, Naples
  • United States: Norfolk, VA

Initial contracts run from the start date until the end of the calendar year, with the possibility of yearly extensions.

No, you will have a Contract Service Agreement with GEOS. Your services will be provided to NATO as an Interim Workforce Consultant (IWC).
